All I have to say is WOW.
I have owned my Handi rifle for a little over a month now. The Sportsmans club I belong to held a Prairie dog shoot last weekend. Paper targets sets at 100 and 200 yards. We had 34 shooters. All calibers and all styles of firearms. Mine was the only Handi there. I had alot of people come up to me and ask what I was shooting. In the land of bolt actions that little rifle out shot a-lot of them. I think I made a believer out of them. I volunteer at the local sports store and we have had to order three of them since the shoot. Some of the shooters were blowing compressed air through there gun barrels to cool them thinking they would get a better grouping. I shot all ten one after the other and I still held acceptable groupings.
We all post what we change on our guns here. Triggers, polish this, bed that. But would you change the way that gun comes out of the box?
I don't think I would. I like to tell the people who bought a rifle for 600+ dollars what my rifle costs and what I myself have done to it after I outshoot them. It's a good feeling.

:D , Welcome aboard phoneman and congratulations on your good shooting Handi. This is what many of us here like about our Handis, shooting head to head against some $600 to $1,500 rifle or rifle/scope setup and outshooting them!! Much of it is the shooter, but these fine little rifles sure can hold their own against the "big $ guns", these are really the stories of the Prince and the pauper! Hope to see many more happy posts from you!!!....<><....

Congrats on wowing the masses. I too have enjoyed some head to head with a couple of BIG name rifles. I had my Sav. 110FP Tactical & my .308 Ultra at the range, and was asked why I didn't have my wife with me to shoot her own little rifle? I said " cause it ain't my wife's little rifle, it's what I shoot after I warm up with my Tactical Rifle". They laughed, and we started shooting. Several groups later we went downrange to fetch targets, they didn't laugh as much when I asked if their daddies knew they were out trying to shoot big boy guns? It's amazing that nickel and dime sized groups are big enough to serve a huge portion of "crow" on.
