Bought a 870 8 shot Barrel Extension at a gun show....End of extension has the same Male threading as the mag. tube on the shotgun.....I don't know how to fit???????must be some kind of adapter that I don't have.......any help on this issue???????thanks Hal

Are you talking an extended magazine tube? All the ones I've seen, and the one I have, screw on in place of the magazine cap. If your tube has male threads on, you were had. Could it be that you bought a replacement magazine tube, and have to remove the original factory tube to install the new one? Removing the original factory magazine tube is not a task I've ever done. Probably need a special wrench to prevent crushing the tube.

In the off chance you really do mean barrel extension (and not magazine extension), I assume it would go where the interchangable choke goes.
