No it wasn't a comedy althoug there were some funny parts. Mostly the kind of jokes that cowboys might have played on each other. It was a quiet, serious kind of movie about the dying breed. It does have a little action in it. The Dwight Yokam movie reminds me of it but everyone but me seems to hate that one.
