I think I'm going to puke. Listening and watching the reporters and pundits go on and on about the pope and his visit to this country, you'd think it was the second coming. My wife says the news (those who report it) is a very big part of what is wrong with this country and I think she is right.

"news" organizations are a problem in this country along with the big banks, big government, lawyers, liberals, and political correctness.

Geez magooch, where you been. Probably over half the posters have complained about the traitor, communist, sellout, no count, lying, mockingbird, liberal owned media. Join in and you get a kick or two in also. They make me almost as sick as they make me mad.

No surprise all the lefties are gushing over this Pope - he's anti capitalist, pro immigration, and a warmer! Add to that he doesn't say much about abortion or gay marriage, so the left is happy to overlook these 2 minor "faults" and embrace him as their own - even though they're non-believers.

The only thing the left sees in the Pope is a way for them to further their agenda and garner some more votes for the dummycrat party. Believe me, they're not at all interested in anything he has to say about religion!

Our "news professionals" present state has nothing to do with religion, as such. Collectively, they are as excitedly star struck as any treeny-bopper/groupy with anyone of note and always have been; most of them live in a 16 year old's time warp so of course they they feed on sensationalism, it's a world wide trait of the immature. So is their fascination of anything that drags down 'the man', i.e., established wisdom of the ages, especially including social, moral and religious mores. You can bet the same 'journalists' who are now fawning over the Pope would be sneering at him if the Pope put down the Dem's PC love of queers, socialism, state power or Muslims.

Why are we allowing the head of an organized gang of pedophiles into this country other than as a prisoner?
I was wondering the same thing.

They think he is as left wing as they are, this should have been expected by anyone paying attention to news beyond the U.S.

This is good as it may separate the left-wing pretend RC from the conservative true RC Christians.

Might split the church in some areas.

While I am definitely not of the Catholic persuasion, I do know many good folks who are. I believe there are many who have sought ..and found Christ..and prayed to him for salvation, on their own and not through any church hierarchy. Good for them !
I must admit that this pope's Marxist ways are troubling, but that seems to be the South American way...and apparently the RC Church chooses to "go along to get along". Just this morning judge Napolitano said for Catholics to remember that the pope is their leader in moral/spiritual things..but NOT in politics or economics..and this pope's politics & economics.... is WAY OFF!
One very troubling thing I saw in the news which seems so outlandish that I prefer not to take it at face value as written. Here is the article, did the pope ACTUALLY make that or a very similar statement? Or was some reporter lying? Perhaps a serious Catholic can help us here.

The Catholic church is the most corrupt origination on the face of the earth! Queer priest molesting kids and the church covering it up! The only thing that matters to the church is MONEY! This means converts, so they incorporate local voodoo practices into it to get converts! They are as bad as the Muslims!

For a leader of such a powerful organization such as the Catholic church,(and not just this pope, but many preceding him) he could do so much good. But is such a dismal failure, I bet even Jesus is shedding a tear over that mess. gypsyman

The Pope is surrounded by a bubble, they try to keep him that way. He is comparing capitalism everywhere to the corrupt country he came from. No mention of how capitalism has helped millions in this country rise above poverty. Or how it is the good people of this country who have unselfishly donated, or sent aid to those in need, more than any other country has in history. Obama certainly isn't going to admit that, in fact him and his party
are playing all this for anything they can get out of it. In fact making the Popes comments and his visit, even more political than I'm sure it was intended.
