I caught a 20 pound blue last Monday while drift fishing on Keystone Lake. Took it's picture and turned it loose, wouldn't fit in the live well.

Sounds like a danday fish. The largest cat I've landed on a rod and reel was 12 pounds or so. The only time I've had to fish this year was with a rod and reel in a small creek behind the house. A 10 pound channel is huge for this creek. Most of what I've been catching is between 1 to 4 pounds. I'd sure like to get on some big ones like you did.

Take Care,
Scott

It was actually a slow day, that was the only fish I got in the boat. I did have another one hooked for a bit but I guess I didn't have it hooked good enough cause I lost it. It was a good one, one of those big fish that you can feel the power when that swim..every stroke of that big tail fin.

My goal is one of forty pounds or larger on rod-n-reel. The blues are growing quite well here in NE Oklahoma, all I need to do is keep trying, it's gotta happen sooner or later.
