Well it turns out that even the Supreme Court is above the law and common sense. https://www.cnbc.com/2019/03/14/court-rules-gun-maker-remington-can-be-sued-over..

If this stands and whether, or not Remmington has to pay, just imagine the implications. Virtually any business, or anybody can be sued if someone is harmed by any product, or any action.

Maybe all judges and lawyers should be sued for all the harm they have done to others. No one is above the law--so say the idiot Dummycratic communists.

Your link didn't come through for me, but I know of whence you speak..product liability going too far..

Yes the Dummycrats keep saying.."NOBODY IS ABOVE THE LAW"..

... except for 965,000 illegal border jumpers, including drug smugglers, rapists and welfare seekers !

this could result in gun owners to be forced to buy liability insurance similar to automobile insurance .

It's a good thing we have a "conservative" majority on the Supreme Court. :tango_face_sad:

Either way it's wrong. Absolutely no difference than some slime bucket deciding the brand new Chevy he just stole is now his weapon of choice to mow down an innocent crowd, then have the courts decide General Motors is REALLY responsible. Better buy up those aluminum baseball bats for the kids too, before they relabel them "assault".....look out Spaulding!

This was STATE supreme court, NOT fed. CHARLIE.
The appeal was to the FEDERAL supreme court. The FEDERAL supreme court chose to not take any action, they could have fixed this nonsense but the fake conservatives on the FEDERAL supreme court chose not to.

It's worse than that. The Connecticut law being upheld is about manufacturers with sales and marketing practices that pose a direct danger. Cigarettes, alcohol, motorcycles, adventure gear, travel to potentially dangerous places, prescription drugs, military recruitment ads. Those are just a few examples of suits that could result. But we all know that the law will only be used against gun manufacturers.

I've said it before, and it's worth repeating. The "higher learning" establishments have become nothing more than brainwashing places to imprint the ways of the professors on our children, to change moral values from what parents wish to pass on, distort the traditions we hold in high reguard, promote socialistic ideals, as well as demonstate the way they believe the rules don' apply to them......that they are"our betters".

Should anyone find fault with these observations,(other than they they leave too much out), remember those students demonstrating how the "higher education" surfaced when Hillary lost the election and the educated response was falling on the floors in the fetal position because they didn't get their way. And you spend thousands to have those"educators" do this to your children.

As the rest of the civilized world tries to rid America of guns, our adversaries shriek with delight that no longer will there be "a gun behind every blade of grass", the reason, by the way, that we were not invaded in either World War. Wasn't most of Europe overrun because of their civilized inability to allow the civilians to keep and bear arms to defend their country?

Anyone with a working mind knows that the prime reason for our 2nd Amendment was to allow citizens to defend themselves against a tyrannical government. At the time it was composed, citizens were given full license to keep and bear the very same weapons that a tyrannical government would possess.

We are constantly bombarded with claims from the gun-grabber left that common sense regulation must prevail. There is no common sense on the left. There are no standards--except for double standards on the left. I would concede to the commie, socialist lefties that they should be allowed to practice for themselves to not keep and bear arms and should post signs outside their quarters to that effect.

Anyone bent on singular, or mass murder cannot be stopped by denying freedom loving patriots their Constitutional rights and natural rights the means to defend themselves.

And let's not forget that indoctrination into economic, civic, and political incompetence begins in kindergarten at the latest. It's not just universities.

That may be more crucial than higher education , young minds tend believe that whatever a elder tells them is the gospel truth .

Good point. I remember My children coming home with things that had absolutely no bearing on family values, or any actual life value either! Fortunatetly lifes' lessons were enough to change their minds once they reached the workforce.

Yes, the youth in most cases are being handed a bag of Schiff...

However, remember Winston S. Churchill;

"If one is not a liberal at 20, he has no heart..if he is not a conservative by 40..he has no brain."

We can hope that most will mature and gain some wisdom before 40.
