There is also a set for the Navies but I don’t need that at the moment so don’t have the url. Maybe someone will,post it.

At one time I had assembled over many years a complete set of both the Army Official Records and the Navy, I think 128 and 37 volumes respectively.
That was back before the internet and digital books.
Digital is the ONLY way to go on these, as John notes "the ability to search it" with a quick "edit-find" query instead of opening each volume and searching the index for an index term which may or may not be there. I was happy and my wife was ecstatic when I finally sold them off.
These would be easy to download and keep on your computer if someone does a lot of CW research. Of course you can also whip out your phone and access them from anywhere on earth in a matter of seconds.
