I recently read an article that stated that the peepsight had a magnifyer in it to focus on the front sight post more acurately. I believe this sight was on a hepbern rifle. Anyone here know if these sights are still made and were they any good, not really looking to purchase one just never heard of this before would like alittle more imformation about the sight.

AFAIK, There are only two ways to improve front sight focus when using a peep sight - either minimize the peep aperture size, or go with a larger/brighter(FO) front sight.

Or get a Merit lens disc. Can also use the glasses style. ;)
Merit Lens Disc[/color]
For the rifleman who requires, or desires, an optical lens to further sharpen his sight picture. This disc utilizes the #3 aperture assembly and provides a cavity to mount a prescription ground lens.
