Pistolsmithing book???

Howdy,
I bought a used ASM '60 Army and it has some problems and needs some work. I'm fairly handy but have no experience with gunsmithing. Can someone recommend a book for a novice pistolsmith? I think I need to replace the hand and bolt and then smooth up the action.

pistolsmithing

I just yesterday bought a book titled "Gunsmithing Guns of the Old West" by David R. Chicoine. Published by Krause Publications, 700 E. State St., Iola, WI 54990-0001. Tel 715-445-2214 Catalog 800-258-0929. Davis apparently is a gunsmith in North Carolina who has specialized in antique and Victorian weapons. It is very clear, covers functioning, systems, differences between makers, originals and modern repros., most every brand out there, and rifles too. Cost me $27.95 at a gunshop.
Thanks Flint. I'll track a copy of that one down!

I ordered a copy from Amazon's New and Used section. Got it new from [email protected] for $18.25 plus $3.49 shipping.
