I just went through this same thing earlier this week. The plug screws are 6X48. Just make sure you get the short ones without the contured head. When looking at the screw from the side it should be the same diameter the entire length. If you use the contured head the screw sets too high on the barrel. Whoops. Maybe I should say in my opinion it sets too high. My barrel is a older super 14, I think the newer ones are the same. After reading this twice I just noticed you said Encore barrel. I think they are the same size threads but since I don't have an Encore I won't swear to it.
