Serial# is C 2310XX

This particular pistol was made in 1947 and was one of the first post war civie models made and has several early parts not found on later models. As the pics show it has an awesome blue/black gloss finish on vertical surfaces and a bead blasted matte finish on horizontal. I have replaced all the springs with a set from Wolff(still have originals). The grips are not original but skip check (Ahrends/Herrets?) which from what I have been told were popular replacements from that time frame. The grip safety has also been extended(pre-beavertail grip safety). This pistol is an excellent shooter and was my get dressed up carry piece but I have too many 1911's and want some other toys.
