This weekend I am desperately hoping that I'll get a chance to take my Puma 44 20" to the range. I have a nice assortment of handloads stocked up and ready to be tested but I want to be sure that I'm being realistic about what to expect.
At 50 yards I think the rifle should pass the pop can test, but at 100 yards I think the rifle should be able to pass the empty 2 liter bottle test with flying colors. Am I mistaken about that? I haven't had another chance to test out this rifle other than breaking it in and that was more to see how well it'd feed and function.
I just don't know what to expect out of my lever action pistol caliber rifle for accuracy. I'm really hoping it'll put some venison on the table this season.
