I am a newbie to this site, so I may have missed this discussion already and I will apologize in advance if I have. I found a new Puma 454 that I can pick up for $350. It even still has all of the serial numbers on it (a plus.) :)
I am looking for reviews of this rifle, expected velocity increases over pistol length barrels, and whether or not you have had any problems using 45LC. I am interested in the accuracy of this rifle as well. I am a firm believer in the fact that you can't hit the air around them hard enough to get the job done.
I do not see myself banging max Casull loads out of this rifle every day, but I really think that the ability to use them if needed could come in handy.

I am also interested in putting new sights on this rifle if I can get it in the door without the boss trying to use it on me.

Thanks for the information...like the site, and hope to hear from you soon.

I've been paying close attention to anything written or posted about the Legacy Sports M-92 in .454 Casull. I can't say that I've seen anything negative about them as yet.

I understand that this year they are offering the .454 in stainless steel and they will also be bringing out the .480 Ruger chambering in blued finish.

The stainless would be a great foul weather setup here in Michigan when still hunting. Just might have to pick one up if the positive reports keep coming in! :toast:
