Is it just me? The range the 2 weeks before rifle season is usually packed all weekend and there were very few shooters compared to years past. Went to one of the biggest shows this weekend and it felt empty to years past

Is it like this all over or just in my neck of the woods?

Thanks,

Every show I have been to for the last 6 months has been totally dead.

People are broke. I mean really broke.

Its no fun to go to the fair if you don't have a dollar in your pocket to buy cotton candy.

So, . . . nobody is going.

I haven't been to a gunshow in several years. I don't shoot on public ranges but my personal range has been getting a fair bit of shooting on it lately mostly by me. ;D

No public ranges for me either but all the shows have been shoulder to shoulder and much cash flowing. Now there hasn't been the panic buying such as we saw 3 years ago with the Obama firearms incentive in full swing but more back to rational levels. Shops here have bunches of guns they're buying up from the less fortunate but they're sitting on them rather than lowering prices even though they are willing to pay less when they pick them up.
