I have the opportunity to purchase a Savage M110 .270. It is drilled for a scope mount but does not have a scope on it. It seems to be in great shape except for a little scant rust on the barrel. When I hold this gun it seems very light and smooth to hold.

I am wondering what the value of this rifle is and if anyone has any experience shooting this model. Input is appreciated.

The Savage 110 has been around for a long time and in many models(1958-present). It is generally recognized as being an inexpensive, but very accurate out of the box gun with few problems. Without knowing the 110 model designation, I must estimate value ranging from $160 to $375 in premier/magnum grades.
