Depends what you're used to I guess. I shoot a 30-30 and 35Rem all the time, and the 375JDJ is NO FUN for me!!! A buddy of mine had one several years ago and I shot 3 shots out of it from the standing position. My hand went numb and I promptly handed it back to him. No Thanks!!! I shot it right after another friend of ours shot it and very nearly ended up on his keister ... he thought he was shooting his SRH 44Mag and was flat footed with both feet facing the target. 3 backward steps later he finally caught his balance! I just about fell on the ground I was laughing so hard!
Anyway, it kicks SIGNIFICANTLY harder than anything I've shot. I don't know what he had for loads / bullets, but it was more than a handful.
