Anybody have a go to recoil pad for an original Contender wood stock? I need to add an inch to LOP, and want something a little more absorbant than a 20 year old piece of rubber.
I could get a small spacer if needed to add the length to whatever pad is recommended. A 17 ft/lb recoil is more than my shoulder is happy with (full power 170gr 30-30 through an open sight tapered barrel).
