Looked at one at Wal-mart for $365 today. Saw that it is made in Russia . Cheap price for a 3 1/2 auto. Just wonder if it is worth a try. What guys do you think?

All done, cammo paint on the plastic, finish on the stock wasnt great,i had to sand the point where it butts to the action a bit to get a nice smooth transfer, allen shell holder and sling, stud kit,rem oil and a good cleaning. This shotgun has an action on it like an AK or SKS,when it closes you KNOW it.Came with several made for steel extended chokes, wrench, plugs, and child safety lock.Internals are steel unlike my jammomatic POS charles dailey auto, which is almost entirely plastic.Ill break it in on some ducks in the AM and see how she patterns.

A buddy of mine bought one and said he is having problems with it feeding the shells, so I chickened out buying one. Ended up buying an over priced Benelli superblack eagle 2. Duck hunted the last 2 weeks with it and love it.

I know I'm talking about different models of shotguns here but ask your friend if they were low brass federals that wouldn't feed. For some reason, the last 2 870s and an 1100 I tried had issues with low brass 2 3/4" Federals, had to have been a bad batch. Anything else fed fine so it was definitely the shells in all 3 cases. Odd indeed but happening in pump models and semis shows something fishy was going on.

Nonya, not trying to talk trash. I own several remingtons now. But if you look at the date that I started this thread, I was in the market for a 3 1/2 inch gun for waterfoul. I hadn't heard much about this gun, then after my buddy got one and had some troubles with it I decided to go another direction. Sniper, not sure what shells he tried, but he bought the gun to deer hunt with.

Have your friend read the manual, might help his "problem",the first thing he needs to do is put 50 or so light loads through it then try some of the loads you are going to shoot while hunting, during this time you learn how the adjustable gas collar works and you figure out where you need to set it to avoid cycling problems,if he didnt do this I can understand why he had problems.
