My wood stock on my Tikka Whitetail Hunter broke (not sure how, but that's another story). Anyways, does anyone know of a source for replacement stocks for these? Its is a Left-Hand model.
You might want to contact Beretta, Tikka/Sako's parent company. They provide excellent service, but I can guarantee you, the replacement stock will not come cheap.
You might want to try switching to a synthetic stock. They are really tough!
I found this link on the web. http://www.thecountryshed.com/sako_rifle_stocks.htm .They offer replacement stocks but....at a price not far short of a new rifle. You could try Beretta, good luck! I agree with Arizona Jake, the synthetic stocks are bulletproof.
Try these guys.....http://www.rifle-stocks.com/ They offer several grades of walnut and also several laminate colors in both the 695 and 595 action. I have used them before and was happy with the purchase
Hey thanks for the replies. It broke while I was in Montana hunting mulies - had to use my buddies Kimber. I'll check into it some more in a couple weeks. Shotgun season here now & then up to northern MN for the last weekend of rifle season.
