I like wood stocks on my guns. To me, they look far better than any synthetic.
Now, with that out of the way, I will say that for ANY gun that I take duck hunting, I prefer synthetic. Reason is simple: my duck hunting guns get banged up pretty bad. Wood stocks show that wear and tear a lot more than a synthetic. So for upland, small game, deer, targets, safe queens, etc, it's wood for me. For waterfowl, synthetic.
