I have an original factory barreled Ruger MK II long action rifle without sights, with both the wood stock and a Ruger skeletonized synthetic stock chambered in .375 Whelen Ackley Improved. Rifle was made in 1995 and is in super condition. What would be the value of such a rifle. I know that the new .375 Ruger has eclipsed the .375 Whelen AI in power, but this rifle is one of a kind and a great shooter. Any ideas of worth? ;D

My experience is that rifles chambered in wildcat calibers bring less than those in SAAMI calibers as there are generally few folks interested in dealing with a wildcat, even a simple to load one like yours. A new Ruger can be had for ~$450 - $500 or so where I came from so I would count on something significantly less than this. Just my two cents and experience.
