That totally depends on how handy you are, how good your visual memory is, and if you have done this before. If you haven't delved into the guts of a single action before, I'd suggest a gunsmith. Especially if you know one well enough that he'll let you look ovr his shoulder while he does it and explains the process.

Rugers are not overly complex, the springs are coil springs, and there are no real suprises in there, but if you haven't done it before, I wouldn't start on a timing job.

Just my $.02, and worth about that!
