I was looking at an ad in a magazine for Russian Single-shots that resemble the Ruger No.1. Offered in standard calibers for about the price of an H&R/NEF. Supposedly in the catalog at eaacorp.com (the same who brought the Saigas) but there no where to be found. I can't find the magazine or remember the name of the gun. Does any one know of these Russian Center-Fire SIngle-shots allegedly a rifle version of thier shotguns i think?

I got to look at one of those Spartan SPR22 in .45-70 at a store in Sacramento a while back and the fit and finish isn’t up to what I would expect in a good double rifle. If that single shot isn’t any better I would have one in my safe. Just my $0.02 on them. Lawdog
