was looking a 3.5" mag 10 gauge nef topper shotgun.
the add says its an sb2 receiver. i thought shotguns were sb1 receivers?
i was thinking of using the sb2 receiver, to replace my sb1 44 mag receiver,
and keeping the 10 gauge barrel, just for fun.
is this possible? any input?
thx

SB2 frames are alloy steel, the 10ga SB2 frame (also 12ga Ultra Slug Hunter) are shotgun frames with large firing pins, not the same as SB2 rifle frames that have small firing pins, the SB2 10ga frame has a lower watertable and larger barrel seat for the .100" larger chamber swell of 10ga and 12ga USH barrels which are actually 10ga barrels with a 12ga bore, standard rifle and shotgun barrel swells are 1.1XX" diameter, 10ga are 1.2XX" diameter.
