I have the target Tasco 6-24x44 with fine cross hairs and 1/8 dot.
I like it good enough. have it on my 223 Ultra and it holds zero just fine. I usually only use it up to12-16..... 18 Max-anything over that and it gets really dark. On a nice day I can though. Rather have a Leupold myself, but its adaquate and functional-a lot better than the BSA's I have checked out. Though in their defense it has been a while sence I looked at those.

I would like to buy a Mueller but they don't have a high power (like 6-24x44) scope without the illuminated reticle. I do believe they are in the making though. Meuller really likes the Illumination
Other than that I hear great things about them though, excellent glass, very clear.
Just not a big Illuminated reticle kind of guy though.

I guess the main reasons for me is also the distraction, but too the size and the over all bulk at the rear eyebell. I do see that it would be nice in low light conditions though. Most of the illuminated scopes I checked out had a bad field of view, though it looks by what Meullers page says that doesn't really apply to them so much.
I would like to see some more models without the illuminated reticle. That's all.
beckerhead-the old Tascos that were made in Japan were good scopes. But the invasion of China made scopes, and cheap labor has taken over Tasco, and has been that way for a while.
I say go try out your friends and see what you think.
