They’re 10-32 screws, length varies a little depending on your forend. Somewhere around 5/8” or 3/4” is what most use. Hope that helps.

10-32 screws are correct for the forearm, and they are the same size as sling swivel screws. I have taken the sling swivel screws and shortened them and modified the nut that hold the forearm sling screw in place so that it will set on the barrel top hat and also hold the forearm solidly in place. You then have a mount for a sling or even a bipod. It just takes a little bit of close tolerances in shortening the screw.

Before you cut the screw, run a nut on it, helps to mount in a vice and cleans the cut threads up when you run it off.
