So I have a barrel that has a good amount of side to side play when it’s open. When closed it locks up tight with no side to side play. Tried on two other receivers same results. Any insight? Does it affect accuracy?

Its your forearm. Put some HVAC tape between the spacer and wood to tighten it up or cut a piece of milk jog for a gasket. Works great

Yeah. Forend too loose. Try a different forend if it's synthetic or add a shim of plastic between the spacer and wood if it's a wood forend.

I do not know if it effects accuracy but it very well could.

Too loose a forearm I've never had accuracy issues with. Too tight, ohh yeah, that will mess ya up.

As long as it locks up like a bank vault don't sweat it.

I had a factory 158 rifle in the same situation locked tight when open it was sloppy. Super accurate, but didn't like slop and fixed as I stated earlier

Thanks for the advice guy’s. A couple years ago my wife gave me a pick a Poluza to make guitar picks. I used some of the pick material that came with to fashion the spacer. Worked perfectly no more side to side wobble.
