Got a friend who was an Air Force survival instructor in the 1960s and 1970s.
Years ago, Ole showed me how to ensure you'll get up early in the morning. He called it the "Sioux Alarm Clock."
Just drink a pint of water before you go to bed.
Oh, you'll wake up early in the morning. Guaranteed.
There's no snooze on this "alarm" when it awakens you. And if you do snooze through it, you'll have an awful mess to clean. :)

it might work

but if your in a survival situation you might already be dehydrated as most of us are in our everyday state. this would mean you will need to keep up on your fluid intake and then yes your bladder will wake you quite well. Raymond

I've heard this one before with more info.

The earlier you want to wake up, the more water you should drink.

No, beer/alcohol won't work as well as it's a depressent and dehydrates too.

Sioux alarm clock

At my age my Sioux Alarm Clock goes off about 3 times a night!!!!! :-D
