Hi,
I am just getting rolling on casting my own and I have a question. Everything I read about using wheel weights says they are a bit harder. Are you still able too run them through your sizer and get consistant results??

ww is coming out at 10 on the brinell hardness which is perfect for low velocity or water quench them and they will come out about 17 on the hardness scale and you should have no promblem sizing as long as your sizer is specific for that caliber! :wink:

my ww come out at 12.5bhn and age harden to 14bhn,you will get some variation on hardness ,you should have no problem with sizing,just got back from shooting my first homecast bullets 8) .475linebaugh-335 wfngc using bbt bullet lube got excelent groups no leading ,these were aged about 7 days usualy they tell you to wait 14 days for max hardness,could not wait
