That is my fault and not Charlie's.
He (Charlie) phoned me to talk about how well he felt that the whole thing ran and asked if it was your son who called it and whether his name was Brian or Ryan.
I told him I thought he was your son and the name was Brian. (I've actually called him 'Brian' a couple of times when talking with him on the line,)
(At any rate, I have to agree with Charlie -- congratulations are in order. It's like clockwork and nearly flawless. A very easy cadence to shoot to and he certainly keeps solid control of the line.)
My sincere apologies....certainly not my first time of making a mistake, nor will it be my last. The thanks does still apply. Ryan and Joe did a great job calling the match and I appreciate their work.
note to self, check the facts before using the keyboard.
Aw, Ryan knows who he is, we know who was calling the match and we all know it's the thought that counts. If we really got serious about remembering and thanking all the people who contribute so much to putting on a match on that scale we would surely leave somebody out. It must be a labor of love. If I had been working in that stat office, for instance, I don't think I'd have still been smiling Sunday afternoon. It's certainly an event to be proud of.
