Now while I have been figuratively been shoving Governor Burkhalter's lock-up and social distancing up his rectal orifice, even before the Chinese Virus hit I knew that some steaks on sale would not be available at those prices much longer but while I did buy and scarf down I did not buy for future use.
SO, I am going to have the yearly Father's Day/Water Carnival feed, even with the parade cancelled.
Now I did find some "sale" prices on-line at foo-foo on-line butcher shops.

Now it is not just steaks, I like to buy hot-dogs/bacon from places I probably will never drive to in my life also, so now that my Chinese Virus bucks have arrived I may have spent unwisely but I will eat well as will my guests.
From:

Porter Road (not steaks or hot-dogs but on sale)
10 lbs. hamburger -- (In one pound chubs)
4 bone marrow bones -- ( they put the price into free shipping and having had them before, they are as good as any part of bovine possible' you cannot get them around here that I ever saw.)

Showalters's -- Their hot dogs are GREAT.
Hot Dogs - Showalter's Hot Dogs-4
Dry Cured Bacon - Dry Cured Country Bacon-2
Dry Cured Bacon - Dry Cured Hickory Bacon-2-
Dry Cured Bacon - Dry Cured Apple Bacon-2
-- Free shipping.

Foo-Foo places

Allen Brothers
2 PRIME STRIP STEAKS 2PC / 12OZ EACH1$0.00
USDA PRIME HEART OF RIB ROAST, 4-6 LBS
Free Shipping -- the two 0 bucks steaks, I got for getting the roast, by them selves are 89 bucks.

Special sale deal.
Marble Mountain
Akaushi Wagyu Beef sample box.
2 Ribeye steaks
2 Strip steaks
2 Chuck steaks
2 Cross Rib steaks
2 Sirloin Tip steaks
1 Sirloin steak
190 bucks plus 15 shipping but for Wagyu this is dirt cheap.

Robert Wholey (now this place did not send the hot dogs ordered, and have not responded )
6 Porterhouse steaks -
3 packages hotdogs
10 bucks shipping.

For the money, at least the steak part, I may have had pounds more top line beef steaks locally, but you never know how good the grass is on the other side of the hill till you try it..
But then I did not know virus paranoia was going to cause this country to stick its head up its buttocks.:(
Some of the places I bought these from, they were sold out shortly after I ordered.
The shipping containers are actually nice enough I will keep at least two of them.

I bought one of those steak packages year ago from the gun that drives around in the truck selling them. they tasted fine and were tender but were injected with water to add weight and that did impress me much. Plus they were cut way to thin. Just bought a 50 lb box of ribeyes from a place around here that supplies resteraunts. the resteraunts are closed and they were selling them fairly cheap. but again there cut to thin for me. But there tasty and tender. At least they were vacuum packed full of water. What do you use bone marrow bones for?? Just got a call from my hunting partner yesterday. His brother just bought a steer and had it ground to burger. Said the farmer was stuck with doing the butchering and grinding himself because the meat plants around here are all backed up and nobody will process them. Got 200lbs of 90/10 burger for 2.50 a lb. Cant beat that with a stick. I usually like about 85/15 but around here lately your getting as much fat as burger at the stores and paying 4 bucks a lb for junk burger. still looking for those mystical 50 dollar a piece hogs people are talking about.

"sorry buckskin but I kill that many every year and probably butcher twice that most years. The only red meat weve have eaten in this house for the last 15 year is venison other then maybe a couple packs of beef ground chuck when we run out which is rare. Id have to guess my experience in cooking and preparing venison is well above yours."

above quote from Lloyd from aging venison thread.
Ha! Looks like Lloyd's run out of venison...
