The built in 20moa base would be great for long range shooting, but would use up a lot of adustment for normal .500 Handi hunting, might work ok if the contour matches the 1.1XX" barrel. Good rings would cost a whole lot less at about $40 installed, no gunsmith required.
I've not had a problems with the Signature Zees, but the Leupold rings are much better, the cross bolt on the Burris rings is only a #6, but the lug on the PRW/QRW is a very substantial piece of steel, not a small screw, it pretty much fills the cross slot, it's square, not round.
