Jeff223, I have dealt with him and he was great, quick to ship and seemed tobe very honest and forthright. I suggest contacting him by phone before this goes to far and bad feelings are built up. I hope it can all be resolved happily. I don't know Justin Korpal, aka "KORPL" other than he was great in the dealing I had with him...perhaps something was lost or misplaced in shipping....<><.... :money:

As a added suggestion, since he is good enough to list his phone number and seems to have excellent feedback as a seller here by quite a few members with nothing bad said about him, call him and speak to him personally before anything else is said or done, it might be able to be straightened out easily without hurting someones name or reputation....<><.... :grin:

Jeff, I know this may seem like a silly question but do you have the right guy you are talking about? I have done a quick research of TC barrels for sale cross referenced with your name and the only thing I found was some communication from you to a different seller, "TC barrels for sale" on June 10th in the TC Classifieds where you inquired about a .44 Mag barrel for $150. Korpl was not the seller of that barrel, perhaps there is an easy explanation for this?

i got a scope from him before and the deal went as planned and i gave him a thumbs up.this time i have a bad feeling about this.

the money order was cashed last week and the barrel hasnt been received yet.i called his number yesterday but the number was out of order :shock: i have his address so i can still send a letter to him and im going to try calling again today.i also got a PM from another member and he said it took Korpl 2 and 1/2 weeks for him to send his barrel out :shock:

if the barrel comes i will ask Graybeard to edit all of this off and i will give him a good rating again.i will also give him a full apology

Jeff, I just tried the number posted for "Koprl" and it's working, he leaves a message he is out and asks you to leave a number and name and he will call back, best of luck, from my dealings with him all will work out fine...<><.... :grin:

My wife buys and sells a lot of stuff on eBay (500+ transactions), and one thing she has learned is to be patient - up to a point. Example: last week an item was overdue, and the seller sent the tracking number to her. When the number was entered into the USPS tracking site it said no such number. The wife was incensed and wrote a nasty e-mail to the seller. Yesterday the item showed up ten days after it was mailed - it had a tracking number but it was one digit different than the one the seller provided (typo). It should not have taken 10 days to arrive, but it did through no fault of the seller.

OTOH there are sellers who do cheat[/color] on-line buyers, we've been swindled[/color] too. Sometimes there are extenuating circumstances in the seller's life which take precedence over mailing an item - health, deaths, hurricanes, etc. Those can be real excuses, or they can be lies to put off the buyer. Just food for thought.

Thanks for the insight Lonestar, good advice...The seller in this instance has a great reputation and wonderful "feedback" on this site and I am SURE this will all work out for the best. This is a close knit group here, cut one and we all bleed, accuse one and we all suffer. We are a family here and all will be well here soon. All have a happy and safe 4th of July weekend and happy birthday to our fine country, the wonderful US of A!!!! Lets all get our flags out and waving for everyone to see!!!....<><.... :grin:

Jeff, I bought a trimmer from Justin. I had the same experience. It took a little longer than usual for me to recieve the goods, even though I had sent payment promptly.

I did get the trimmer though. I called Justin a couple of times and spoke to him on the phone. He said he had been having some family difficulties.

Once I got the trimmer, and it was in new condition, I gave him positive feedback.

I think you'll be OK if you'll just be patient.

Well boys I have held my tounge about Mr. K0rpl for a while now but since this thread has been posted let me tell a little story.
He posted that he had a Lyman trimmer and new pilot set for sale in the classifieds in Jan. I think. I contacted him and asked if he would be willing to wait until my income tax returns came in and he said he would. He contacted me soon after that and said that he had another one that he was gonna post to sell but he wanted to let me know ahead of time so I wouldn't panic and think he had sold mine, at this point I hadn't sent any money yet. I told him that Wes was wanting one and had posted that he wanted to be next to get in line on the one he had for me and so if he would contact Wes then maybe he could sell it without even posting it. Apparently he did it that way. I sent him a MO for the trimmer on Feb. 22. He had said that he would be including a brand new pilot set also. The short of the long is that I still haven't received a trimmer yet, but he has answered my calls and emails, most of them, and always has some good story to tell about it and promises to take care of it. Our last conversation was last week at which time I told him I was ready to get my money back and he said he would get it in the mail. Made sure he still had my proper mailing address and we hung up. I haven't received any money as of yet. I have been more than patient on this and have been nothing but courteous and kind and understanding, AND he has been the same with me, but it's time now to make good on the deal, don't ya think?
I think I'll call again right now and see what he says.

good luck getting ahold of this joker lik2hunt.my barrel didnt come in today either and i called his phone number but got the recording today.i have his address too and i plan on posting it all over the net on the differant forums i visit if i dont get the barrel or my money back.

im sorry to see you are involved with him too.i wish you would of come forward sooner than you did.i wonder if he has other deals going with people that he didnt make right with them?this tread is a HEADS UP for all the rest of the Graybeard Outdoors members so beware

this barrel was going to be my 445SM rechamber project and i have a Leupold scope and a three ring scope ring mount.i guess this project just got shot down in a hurry.i dont think i will be doing anymore deals to compleat unknowns.i thought i was safe dealing with him because the first time went so good.

time will tell the story :evil:

guys if he has cashed a postal MO and doesn't give you your money back or the check bounces, report him to the post office. It is Postal FRAUD to cash a MO of theirs with fraudulent intent such as this. Hopefully you get your money back, but be prepared. Sounds sour to me. Why didn't he just deliver the barrel instead? Maybe he didn't have it????

For the moment I'm gonna remain quiet on this subject.

But Justin be aware I do have lots to say if forced to do so. Just think back to the very first deal here on GBO and the promises made to me then.

i got a PM from Justin,he said he would get the barrel out to me or give me a refund.i told him the 44mag barrel or a refund would be fine.that was up to him as he has the ball at this point.either way (REFUND OR BARREL) is fine with me.

also thanks Graybeard for stepping in on this one :D

I'm dealing with a similar situation right now, but its only been a little over a week. I made a trade with another member, and communication was very good until I actually sent my half of the trade. Since then, I haven't heard from the gentleman and he hasn't responded to any of my emails. I have no idea if he's shipped what he's supposed to, but I do know he's received the items I mailed.

I don't mind waiting for the items, and I know people get busy. But one thing I don't like is zero communication on the matter. I am a very patient individual, but I have no tolerance for people not communicating.
