Where are Woodchucks located in Tennessee? I have seen them in Northern North Carolina when I lived there. But as you travel South they disapear and Armadillo's take over. I am thinking about moving to Central TN. Cumberland County area. Have a Chuck gun I have not used here in Florida. And if it's not usefull in TN then I might sell it. What do you think? Horsefeathers.

Chucks are pretty abundant here in east TN. Keep your gun. As for cumberland county, TN if you move there be sure to check out the WMA called Catoosa. Great hunting IMO.

There are still pockets of groundhogs around.....but the coyotes get most of them.......You don't say what caliber the gun is, but there are predators and lots of crows that you can use it for. I'd hold it for awhile longer.......

I lived for 3 years on a 210 acre farm in Cumberland Co., TN. In the spring and summer there were groundhogs to shoot at will. I shot several with a little S&W .22 revolver that I always carried. At sunrise, you could set up on a hill and bust them when they popped out of their holes. That was in the 70's and coyotes had just begun to appear in the area.
