I had posted a while back that my .243 heavy barrel would put 1 shot on the bull and the next two were flyers. Well although I didn't get the answer I needed on that post I kept reading and revisiting. Another member had the same problem.

Answer; Float the barrel. The fore end was so tight on the right side that it took me a half hour with a piece of 60 grit sand paper to get a dollar to slide down the side. The gun is shooting less than a one inch group now and I haven't even gotten it fully broken in yet nor have I worked on the hand loads for it. I can hardly wait to see what this thing will do in time! Thanks Guys!

BTW, I was talking to one of the Scout leaders about the gun and he was having the same problem with the same gun. He bought one for his kid too. Guess what he was doing after the meeting last night.
