We are taliking about big species here, elk, moose, and bear.

The mighty 30-30 held the Griz record for a lot of years. :shock: Not that I'm recomending that. :shock:
Lots of Moose camps still carry the 30-30, and the 35 rem as standard.
I know elk have fallen to it too.
Ethical?
Where would you shoot them?

I was given a 30 30 when i was 10 I killed many caribou and
moose with that gun not to metion Black bear and grizzly
growing up in a Alaska village aint easy
you were required to hunt for the Elders.Ya its a Big Game Rifle
and they are still used in the village.
