Been a while since I posted anything here but just couldn't help post these from this morning. A cloudy, foggy December Sunrise near Mars Hill this morning.

I call this AREA 51 of WNC. A new construction site for a jet engine facility coming to Asheville.

This was leaving the above project. Sunrise over the French Broad River near the Skyland/Long Shoals exit on a backroad that parallels I-26.

A view from a new bridge going in for access to the AREA 51 of NC project in a previous post. Stretching across the French Broad River near the NC Arboretum entrance.

Taken high atop Reynolds mountain in Asheville today. These are looking towards Greenville Tennessee. Back behind the furthest mountain that you see would be Greenville which is just slightly southwest of Johnson City.

These caught my eye as I was getting ready to leave this same job on Reynold's mountain.

High atop a mountain in the Swannanoa area looking back towards Black Mountain. If you'll look towards the ridgeline in the 3rd picture you can see what looks like a road cut along the ridgeline. That's the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Found this view today with a viewpoint that would be my style. From the Snow Creek area of Mitchell county.

The North Toe River is not more than 200 yards below this view point. Some of the best back country fishing in this area.

This house has a gorgeous 360° view but I didn't have time to walk all the way around it but I wanted to share at least half of it with you.
