Does anyone here know anything about him. I believe he has long since passed, but he did some excellent work for Mashburn Arms on the rifle my bother owns, a custom Model 98 (commercial I believe), exibition grade French Walnut stock with the inletting so tight it is as if it was glassbedded, but it is not. The rifle is in perfect shape, not even handling marks. Came from an estate sale and is in .256 Newton. I called Mashburn Arms, but there were not any help. Sprague's name appears on the receiver below the woodline. I tried an internet search but found nothing. I believe the rifle was built in the 1940s or 1950s, but could be wrong. This piece is accurate as heck, a joy to shoot and just plain beautiful. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks ... Tom Purdom
