Hello the Fire!

I bought two Patriots off Gunbroker. I put a ramrod down each, and one has a bore almost 1/2 inch longer than the other. The barrels are the same length on the outside. No...one was not loaded. I checked. I shot both pistols today, and they each functioned fine. Is this normal? Why would one have a longer bore than the other? Thanks for any info anybody can provide!

I don't own one of these fine firearms, but my dad owns 4 of them (he has issues, he can never walk away from a good deal). I've handled his pistols several times, and shot a couple of them to boot. Near as I can tell, the ramrods are nearly identical and they all look to drop to the same depth when dropped down the bore.

Check the serial numbers of the two that you own, could be that a different breech plug was used at different times in manufacturing.
