I have a yellow/black laminate stock set (butt stock and forend) for trade for a 7.62x39 barrel. I am not interested in selling the stock set.

yup, I am still looking for one. I thought the stocks might bring out any that have been stuck in a safe somewhere.

I really want the 7.62x39 and all of it's quirks. I'll try to get photos posted this weekend and drive PHATINJUN crazy.

That it will do...but I still only paid $227 for mine brand new sittin on a dusty shelf Only quirk so far is can't shoot the military stuff but one more box of factory and I start reloading. Them stocks sure would be great on the Hornet I'm working to trade for though. ;D Kurt

It is a good thing that you live closer to WI than I do. I would have grabbed that 7.62 Handi in a flash. I was in talking with the guy at Gander Mt about checking with other stores to see if he could find one. He didn't want to do it. He would rather sell me something in stock or nothing.
