Timney has triggers that fit both the 700 and the 721-722.. The difference seems to be in the safety lever. I don't know for certain but would bet they could be fitted. They mechanism is on both is quite similar with just a few manufacturing process changes..

Gunnut69, thanks for reply. I know about Timney and they have an ultra light safety to be installed on their trigger. Looking at about $100, where as if a 700 assembly would drop in I could do it for about $40. Any more suggestions from anyone? Thanks

Just curious>>why are you wanting to swap triggers that are essentially the same?

The 700 trigger will work. You may have to dink with the safety lever a bit but it`ll go. As Gunnut said tho---the Timney is a better way to go. More expensive but just a better trigger. That is why I have lots of 700 triggers and parts!!LOL

Aloha, Mark
