Any troll out there please start contributing to the forum! I have not had to exercise my (substantial) moderator powers since I have been here and I really feel left out... :(

Especially when I hear of all the stuff other moderators have to do: edit posts, delete posts, lock topics, chew out errant posters... I don't get ta do none a that good stuff! :mad:

Now I know it's not because we have so few posts here... ::) so I guess I have to recruit some talent from outside the territorial boundaries of Jawja. :-[ All y'all should be ashamed... you let me down... I can't hold my head up among other mods... :'(

;D ;)

Before Mississippi became a state it was Mississippi Territory, and it included Alabama. Of course, well before that Mississippi and Alabama were part of Georgia colony, except for the part that was West Florida. It's interesting that the history books say that Gen. Andrew Jackson fought the Creeks at the Battle of Horseshoe Bend in Alabama, but at that time it was in Mississippi.

Ok,y'all know what the best thing about GA is? It aint Alabama. And I take offense to the idea of combining LA & MS. Even if the cajuns cook great,they still have Nawlins and WE for sure dont want any of that! That'd MS in the same boat as GA is with Atlanta.

To the Capitain of Horse;
Dear, Dear Moderator,
I am one of those poor lads who attended the Ft Benning School for Wayward boys in 1967. It was down there at the shoreline of the Chata-Hoochie-Coochie where the OCS Brigade commander called me in for an early morning chat. As he expunged me from the 90 day wonder program he removed 3 stripes and a lot of my pay. As I was leaving his exalted presence he sang for me the Ft Benning theme song. "If you ever do that again, I will use a rusty straight razor to remove any rank you have left" Shortly after this I was taken under the wing of the Command Sgt. Major, Benning. He put me under the kind and loving care of a supply NCO who taught me a great deal before he went off to Viet Nam and was arrested for black market. When I was due to get out my CO asked what it would take to get me to reenlist. I told him if he could get me into OCS at Ft Benning I would reup. Two days later my CO, a West Point ring knocker told me that I could not even get assigned to Georgia, Ft Benning, much less OCS, and that he had an amusing letter from a Brigadier at Benning. Since I have never been back, I was wondering if you as an attourney of note, networking, and persapacity could get me permission to actually come back to Georgia and visit. Except for the one set of charges, with no conviction, no one ever really proved I did anything.
Yours in hope,

Hodr

Shoot Hodr me boy... y'all come see us hear!? ;D And do so without any fear of persecution! You are completely safe in my personal care! ;) Now this is no brag, but when it comes to any court in Atlanta I'm so good I could get all the charges against Sherman reduced to one count of trespass... with payment of restitution waived! 8)

I'll.. uh, PM you about my retainer... ::)
