:D First post in awhile and i finally have my first H&R and could not be happier with this little rifle. I purchased a Ultra Varmint Fluted in 223 Rem a month ago. I have put 120 rounds through it with out a bobble. It will shoot inch groups all day long if I don't fall asleep in the process. i like this rifle so my a 25-06 has my name on it in the next couple of weeks. Drew antelope here in NM and it gives me an excuse for a new toy. I'd recommend this rifle to anyone looking for a rifle that won't break the bank.

:D ..Congrats on the new rifle...they are great ...that's for sure...The 25-06 is another good one too...mine shot real good with 115 grain Winchester Supreme factory ammo..

I'm having the barrel I shot this group from converted to 338-06...and most likely send in my receiver for another one...just after I pick up a 45-70 Buff Classic barrel...

Good Group...

But why the BIG target.
Thanks...I didn't have any with me when I went to the Conservation range...and this is what they issue...the grid size is 1" squares...so for sighting in it gives you a 10" X 10" grid...not bad...and difficult to see in poor light...but...they were free...Here's my original post when I got the rifle...http://www.graybeardoutdoors.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=48130&start=0
