Ah shucks Pete, it weren't nothing any other red bloodied American heros wouldn't have done.
Actually I, and a lot of others were just a bunch of largely bewildered high school kids who were intensely trained for months to do some demanding tasks. We all (well most all) were little more than kids but we tried very hard to be men and do our duty. And it was our rarely stated but heart felt honor to serve so great a country.
Thanks for the thanks; it took a long time for honest Americans to push passed the Jane Fonda types.
I will never push past the bitch. I was in the Army 1968 thru 1970. I still have a m-14 and my 45. I still stand at the ready because the ********* are bad. very bad. they have no honor. and you are welcome.
