My 1999 Vixen's stirrup isn't as big as the new Phoenix. I use the Vixen to hunt with and big rubber boots. So i changed them out. Don't have that problem anymore. Think i will have to order a new one from Dan miller.
Yup, i have changed every part between them and put them back to original. Miss Vixen is shooting a est. of 250 fps with the slugged 2213's. Really thinking of going to those NAP Spitfire 170's fer this next year. Folks be talking of deer jumping the string on them. The 4 pt. i got didn't even hear the log i put thru him at 11 yds.
Beware the large stirrup!!!! I was in my climbing tree stand with Excal Exomax. I descended the tree and climber was about 3 feet above the ground, Xbow with sling across my back. I jumped out of the stand to save time....OUCH!!!! When that stirrup hits you in the head you'll wish you had a smaller stirrup. Bleeding stopped before I got to the truck. I know, take a rope and haul the bow up afterwards.... lesson learned.
