Anyone know much about this garage sale find. It was pretty rusty when I got it. It is a Western Cartridge, but I can't find any information about it online.

I’ll state the obvious
Looks like a skeet thrower from the 50s- 60s
Or even earlier.
Very cool. You did a great job on the restoration.

Just guessing on my part.

Never seen one like that before but it is for throwing clay targets as in doubles. Super Job!!
