Well, the boot that I cut open with a chainsaw was deemed upfixable by danner, unexchangable by sportsmans warehouse, so I'm left on my own. I first trimmed off all of the excess leather, and other materials inside, which included gortex, thinsulate, and then a liner. I took a piece of cloth, and soaked it in aquaseal, and applied it around the cut area of the goretex, and then let it dry for a little bit, but so it was still fairly pliable. I then took some synthetic sinew, and sewed up from the bottom, across the top, and tied it off. I applied another generous helping of aquaseal over the whole thing. Cut a good chunk of rope for a new lace... since the old laces were ripped out by the saw.... Here's how it turned out...

hahahaha. I didn't post the pictures of my foot, cause they aren't proper for a family site such as GBO!!

Worked all day in them today in the rain. Totally waterproof, and still just as comfortable.
