I was wondering if anyone has any experiences with the White Muzzleloaders especially the Grand Alaskan model that is no longer made. It was a 54 cal that had a 24 inch stainless steel bull barrel with a green laminated wood stock that was designed to shoot the big 750 grain slug. My other question does anyone know where a person might be able to find that model. I have already contacted Doc White and he did not have one for sell, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Fossil I normally do not not post to many questions or replies on any forum that I belong to, but when I do post a question and someone replies how giving the reply in words and not litte happy or sad faces that are just a waste of time!!!!

And of course Ed is right, the White 98 Elite Hunter is a superb rifle. And Doc would likely be the best source. I recommend a synthetic stock if available as I'm not too crazy over White's laminated stocks.
