So why not? I just moly coated some SPW's (www.slugsrus.com) and will head to the range as soon as the monsoon stops here. I moly coated some few years back but it was with old SR4756 powder and did some improvement. Now with Alliant Pro Reach, I expect to see much better improvement over same load without moly. Will be interesting to see if any of this matters. Pro Reach has been unreal powder for this slug surpassing the SR4756 velocity significantly and with less powder and also in 2.75 hull. Will post up if of any value.

Greetings Muddyboots, Moly coating the SPW might be far more helpful if you are using a smooth bore barrel, but with a shallow rifled barrel just might skid through without imparting a meaningful spin ! !
