wolf hunting

the only experience I have had with the wolf was during the spring bear hunts up near longlac ontario, and the two that I saw were a little larger than I would want to go after with just a varmit class rifle. For myself the min. cal. I would be thinking would be 243 and would more than likely use my 7mm08. They are a little larger than the cayote type varmites we see here in Ar. where we use the standard 223 and 22-250 type rifles. good luck its beautiful up there and the native people are willing to show you around and help out. BTW I got my bear also. JIM
